In this book, we explore the many facets of St. Brigid's life and legacy, from her early years as a slave to her rise as a powerful abbess and spiritual leader. We delve into the rich history of the Celtic Christian tradition, and examine how St. Brigid's unique approach to spirituality and theology has influenced generations of Irish thinkers and artists. We also look at the ways in which St. Brigid's story continues to resonate with contemporary issues such as women's rights, environmentalism, and social justice.

Our hope is that this book will serve as a testament to the enduring power of St. Brigid's story, and inspire readers to explore her life and teachings for themselves. We believe that by understanding St. Brigid's legacy, we can gain a deeper appreciation for Ireland's rich cultural herritage, and perhaps even discover new insights and perspectives that can help us navigate the challenges of our own time.

We would like to express our gratitude to the many scholars, artists, and writers whose work had helped us to better understand the life and legacy of St. Brigid. Without their contributions, this book would not have been possible. We would also like to thank our families and loved ones for their support and encouragement throughout the writing proces.

Finally, we dedicate this book to the memory of St. Brigid of Ireland - a true heroine of Irish history, and an inspiration to us all.

Review
The subtitle of the book is somewhat misleading, we do not find any prayers addressed to the Goddess Brigid in the book. This book is about St.Brigid, it is assumed in this book that this was a real saint. The writer is somewhat surprised at the similarities between the two and it is noted that the stories about the Goddess and the Saint have become intertwined over time. If you are interested in the Goddess Brigid, it is better to leave this book aside.
